Here are mine. My maternal grandmother''s 1.4 ct F VS1 transitional cut on the left, in its original setting from 1929, and my paternal grandmother''s 1.65 ct L SI2 old European cut in a repro setting.

Wow, Glitterata, your family heirlooms are stunning. The setting on your 1.4 is one of the most beautiful true vintage settings I have seen. Wear them in good health.

Here''s mine... It''s not as spectacular as my RHR, but the original stone is 19 years old. I reset it about 5-6 years ago. I wear it all the time.

Set in platinum. Built like a Humvee. (It needs to be--I''ve horseback rode and white water rafted with that thing

Here is my 1.46ct Cushion Cut diamond. It is Y-Z color, SI1 Clarity. The setting is white gold, lucida-style with 5 diamonds on each side weighing .50cttw. The color and clarity is G VS2. My wedding band is also in white gold and has 5 diamonds weighing .50cttw. the color/clarity is G SI1. I love seeing everyone''s drool-worthy diamonds! What a great thread!
