Thank you @Mooshi I am enjoying the edginess of the brushed platinum. And it’s so hefty!! Love that too!

It looks so perfect. Weighty and edgy, yet so refined. Its a piece that you can wear anywhere. You picked the best setting.

Very merry Christmas indeed! Who needs Christmas lights when you've got sparkly diamonds? ;-) love steps cuts and your emerald is beautiful!

I've tried steps cuts on my hand, and they never look as nice as a round on me. That said, this really makes me want to try an EC again. :kiss2: It's beautiful on you, @HerefortheBling!

As much as I love this emerald, I'd probably choose round if I could only have one!

Ooooh, interesting! I only have one round e-ring. Well, only one e-ring, period. Haha. I'm thinking of branching out, but then that would mean my Precious-s-s-s trannie would sit unworn while I sparkled in something else. So I just adore living vicariously through PS and admiring (loving?) others' beautiful pieces! You're doing a great public service, @Mjay . :D Thank you!

This is amazing! I'm exploring emerald cuts right now as a milestone anniversary present. Warmer diamonds are more my preference and I'll be using yellow gold. Did you notice more of a color difference due to the shape and size of your stone when you were choosing between stones?

I'm not really sensitive to color with diamonds. It looks white to me. Unless I'm comparing stones side by side, I usually can't tell the difference.

Ommmggg. I need the specs!! And who made the setting for your octagonal diamond? Literally dream worthy ❤️

Not @petrock<3 but I recognize that setting. It’s a Caysie VanBebber aka/ CvB designs on IG.
I agree, it’s amazing!!

Thanks for the reply. Your ring is beautiful and looks white to me also. I've found 3 H color LGDs ranging from 7 - 10 carats that I'm debating on, but it's too early in the search to make a decision. They will just live in my virtual vault in the meantime :twisted2:

1.88 I H&A round in a cushion halo and a 3.08 D H&A round solitaire. Size 7.5 rings with F/G melee and band widths of just under 2 and 2.5 mm. Hard to capture the color difference on camera, but the I shows off it’s pink/brown CVD tint in some lighting while the D simply reacts to whatever colors are in the environment.

After thinking about an upgrade for months, I finally pulled the trigger on a 4.03 ct (G, VS1, HPHT) in the 4-prong modern solitaire setting from ritani. I really love the ring so far. The stone is set low with claw prongs, though the setting itself is a little thinner than I expected. First pic is next to my original 2.3 rb in 6 prong tiffany style vatche. Ring size 6.5. And thanks again to @Kim N for suggesting the stone - it is a stunner (though I have had trouble figuring out how to get lighting right for decent pictures)!!
