I have a new Solasfera solitaire setting for my e-ring which is very different from my old one. I''m finally adjusting to the new setting after about a month of wearing it. Its grown on me. Now I''m on the hunt for a proper wedding band. I like the look of the eternity band but I''m not sure how it would look next to a thin solitaire setting.

Do I get the same 2mm width or do I got larger? Channel or shared prong or bar set? So I am asking for you wonderful PSers to help me out. Post any pictures of you sets preferably think shanked solitaires with an eternity band.

Thanks!

Lily, do you have perhaps a Tiffany''s store near you? I''d go try on the different styles and see which you like. Theirs are a little pricey, but they are also set very low and look good with most e-rings. I got the 2mm Legacy band from there and love it. They also have shared prong and channel set rings. Just look carefully and be sure the diamonds in a shared prong band cannot touch the prongs of your e-ring.

Here is mine:

The width of my eternity band is 2.2mm and I would say the engagement ring is about the same (maybe a little less). I chose the shared prong over the channel set (which I also like) because I think the setting complements (the size of) my e-ring better. The wedding band sits low enough that it doesnt rub against the prongs in my e-ring but I do have minor scratches on the ''donut'' area underneath the prongs.
