Dear all,

I need any suggestions/opinions on my stone.

I just received my stone this afternoon, with GIA and IGI certificates.

It's a round brilliant one, I color, VS2 clarity, Excellent cut, 1.04 carat. There are some feather inclusion within this(please see the attached figure).img_20140313_152832_2.jpg

there are 4 feather on edge, how can I know weather they are on gridle or reach to the surface? will those feather cause crack/clip problem?

Thanks for any suggestions.

If GIA called it a VS that you're good to go with that stone.

thanks for your reply~

All feathers reach the surface, or actually begin at the surface and extend into the diamond. On your plot that is where the feather reaches the surface. That is a pretty long feather for a VS2, it doesn't mean it is deep, that cannot be seen by a plot. The fact that it was given VS2 would mean that it is not very deep. Generally feathers don't extend once the diamond is finished cutting.
