I have placed the following e- ring on hold. Although my preference is for RBs, I really liked the look of this ring.
I welcome your opinions, should I go ahead and purchase it?

Diamond Specs: From GIA Certificate
.71 Square modified Brilliant
Measurements: 5.02 x 4.93 x 3.47
Proportions:
Depth: 70.4%
Table: 77%
Girdle: Thin to Thick
Culet: None
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
VS 1
F
Fluorescence: None

Band: Raphael eternity band w/ 34 princess cut diamonds.
1.24ct total weight F-G color and VVS-VS clarity
Ring dimensions: 2.6mm wide and 2mm thick

The price, although a little outside of out budget is feasible.

What are your opinions regarding both the diamond and band? I thank you for your feedback.

Do you have links so we can go look at them? Thanks.

This is a picture of the set. I am only interested in the e-ring

Is there an option for the same or similar ring with a round center stone? I know Impatient one has one very similar and it is GORGEOUS.

The reason I ask is because, from your previous posts, you have been asking about rounds and they seem to be your preference. Although you like the look of this ring, it may not "do it" for you given that it doesn''t have the round center stone for you''ve been yearning.

I believe so, that is certainly an option as well. The strange thing is that for whatever reason I''m really drawn to the whole "squareness" of this ring.

The ering is gorgeous. I do wonder since you seem to prefer RB you might not be happy with this one after awhile. If you love PC stones this one is stunning.

Yes, I do prefer RBs primarily because I think they are a "safer" purchase. It seems that most information regarding ideal cut percentages is available for RB. Also, I heard the light return is better on RBs.
I might be wrong on both accounts. I''m a newbie to this whole process.
I agree with you, I really have to think about whether or not I will be happy with this ring in the long run.

I''m curious, Can anyone please provide critiques regarding the diamond specs? Is this considered a well-cut diamond?

Thank you sooooooooo much for helping us out

I don't have any knowledge on square cuts, but just wanted to jump in with my experiences with Signed Pieces thus far. They have been nothing but amazing in my dealing with them. I orginally order the 13-stone Facets Duo (RB) in white gold. THe day before it was to ship, I changed my mind and called to have them change to order to Platinum. They were very accomodating and did not make me feel bad at all for changing my mind at the last minute (after the ring had already been made).

When I finally received my rings, they were gorgeous! I sent them, along with the center stone, off to the local jeweler to be set. When I got them back, I noticed the ring was not set as high as I would have liked it. I guess I should have confirmed when I ordered it that I would be able to see the culet. I also noticed that the center stone was set crooked and that and that the ringsd had been soldered together unevenly

Chalk that mistake up to experience!

I called Signed Pieces right away and Isaac was so kind and reassuring! We had several conversations about what I would like to have done/fixed. He told me to send my ring back to them and they would take care of everything. He told me not to worry about it, that he would personally assure me that my rings would come back to me just as I would like them.

I am expecting my rings back this week, and cannot wait to see them! I have full confidence that SP will have fixed them to my liking. They have been nothing but top notch professionals in my opinion!

Now, back to the ring in question! Do you really LOVE square cuts? If so, I'm sure that ring would be gorgeous! If you're still partial to the rounds, the same setting with RB's is gorgeous - you will not be disappointed!
