Any opinions from PS members about this stone I found on Blue Nile would be much appreciated. I am looking at pulling the trigger on this stone today.

Emerald shape diamond with the following specs:
Carat: 1.81
Color: H
Clarity: IF
L/W ratio: 1.30

Being a VG cut, it'll be wise to view the ASET image. They do arrange for ASET image if the inventory is in their position.

The Tacori setting would be way too high off of my finger for me as it would increase the chances of knocking it into something.

Thanks AS...I did ask for a ASET image, unfortunately the stone is stored in a vault in Antwerp. What's your opinion of the way the stone performs from watch9ng the video?

SL, I had the same concern on the higher profile of the Cathedral style setting especially with a larger stone. However, it's the one she has her set on.

Do you HAVE to buy today? With more time we can find you other options.

Do you NEED to buy IF? VS1 through to IF will all look identical to the naked eye in 99.999% of circumstances, so you could drop to VS1 and increase size or colour.

Brian Gavin now has a new range of 'super ideal' ECs so you should consider those as well.

Ummm...I'm not a fan of the mix of really big steps and really small steps. This could just be my own personal preference.

For cut, I would rather have your other choice. I usually take IF as a perk - something that comes with the package, etc. The 'J' I had picked on your other thread WWW - it hasn't gotten out of my mind since morning (GMT+1).

I am intrigued by your finding spready, IF diamonds everywhere !
