Setting suggestions, please

Hello every one

I'm trying to decide what to do with the stone from my original e ring. It is 1.5 ct in size and definitely a pre-pricescope purchase as it has 2 inclusions that are visible from about 15 inches, but I'm sentimental about it and I do get a lot of compliments on it.

My husband thinks we should set it in a pendant, but I don't get excited by that idea, as I would hardly ever see the pendant.

I'd like to set it in a ring, but something that looks like a right hand ring, and a bit different from my e ring. I have quite a few melee from previous bands which I'd like to use. I was thinking of something like this:

I would suggest a 3 stone ring with either round or pear shaped diamonds. To me, it is less engagement like and is an "anniversary" ring. If I did my 2 diamonds over, ER and RHR, I would have done my RHR as the 3 stone vs my ER.
