Why is deciding on a setting so much harder than buying the diamond.
BF and I spent 6 hours looking at settings yesterday . . . and I am SO confused
Our budget is $1500 give or take a little so custom settings are falling a little beyond our budget and since I don't have a clear idea what I want the extra money for custom seems a waste.
The channel set platinum seeting from WF comes the closest
http://www.whiteflash.com/Engagement-Rings/Styles/Diamond-Settings/Diamond-Channel-Set--0-50ctw-_620.htm
But I'd like to have something that is slightly more "feminine" . . . softer "edges" and more of a flowing look.
Also, I worry about having a wedding band sit flush with the WF setting, what kind of band would "fit next to the WF setting since it isn't an uniform width (3.5mm to 3mm)
Thanks for any suggestions or help.
