Setting Sizes by Diamond Weight Question

Hello All,
My girlfriend loves this setting by Coast SKU LC5257

I have talked to Jewelers regarding the setting and size center stone needed.

What i have been told by several is coast will size the setting by the stone size.

so for a 3/4ct diamond the halo would be .58ctw

and for a 1ct diamond it would be .77ctw.

Obviously this makes sense as a huge halo around a smaller diamond would look weird.

I was wondering if there is any way to tell how much smaller the halo would actually be. My gf saw the bigger one and is worried it wouldn't look nearly the same.

I plan to get a .8ct-.85ct center stone.
