Setting Ideas for Future Engagement Ring!

Hello!

I'm new here. My boyfriend and I are scoping out rings. Not sure what kind of setting yet. I thought I wanted a skinny platinum band but now I'm not sure. Skinny band with pave? Or maybe band with bullets on each side? I like Leon Mege's style but not sure about the basket claws. I love Gwyneth's ring and also the setting of Kim K and Blake Lively by Lorraine Schwartz. Can't afford any of those though but if there's a will there's a way!
I have a feeling he already has the diamond but not sure He won't tell and wants to leave an element of surprise

He wants me to pick a band. Give me some ideas, ladies! Show me your bling!

Sparklemebad, I suggest going to a jewerly store and trying many styles of settings on your hand. People often have an idea of what they think they want only to find it doesn't look the way they imagined on their hand. What ends up looking perfect to you might be something completely different than what you thought you would end up with.
