Setting help - Please show me your colored stone emerald cut halos

Looking for inspiration for a small emerald cut sapphire and haven't found "the one" yet, looking for inspiration/help. It's a smaller stone, so I am looking for a setting that will bulk it up.
(Interesting asscher setting ideas would also work.)

Great minds think alike! That was my first choice, but then I started to worry it would be too small for a RHR. The stone is only 6.85x5.85mm

Gorgeous! I actually have this ring saved in my jewelry idea folder. I think that the stone I have would be too small for this setting and I was really hoping to play up the EC shape a bit more. Kind of stuck on the art deco vibe. But I do love the feminine feel of this setting, I wonder if Caysie can work her magic

Try to imagine this ring. I am doing similar however, she's setting stone e/w and adding pave at the inner part of the bezel where there's miligrain. I'll try to upload a photo of the CAD so you can see.

She is a little Padparadscha at 1.38ct and 6.85 x 5.85.

I plan to make a RHR, so I am looking to avoid anything to engagement ring looking. Originally I was thinking the new Esti style, but then I was worried that it was going to be too dainty. Caysie suggested this amazing double halo with onyx french cuts and diamonds. I love it, but am worried that the onyx will distract from the pad. (1st world problems, I know)

If you do the french cuts, maybe just diamonds and not the onyx? She's great about modifying her settings. I would suggest you go through her instagram photos and reference to her particular elements you like and you could come up with a beauty unique to you.

Ohhh, your right. I don't know why I had such a hard time visualizing it. Thank you for the photoshop! I was trying to sketch it out and doing a horrible job of it

@RunningwithScissors It isn't the easiest thing to measure set, but about 11x8 for the stone(maybe a smidge larger).
