Setting dilemma - Please help

Hello all,

Please help me with settings...i have seen wonderful eye candy in various posts and hoping i can get a great setting to go with my diamond too.

I have some diamonds on hold @James allen but not too impressed with their settings for low budgets (~800 max). I like delicate rings with stones on side but not too overpowering (my diamond would be ~ 2ct.) 18k/14k white gold...
Here are the 2 short listed ones:

Any other suggestions? did you buy the setting from same site or buy them separate? How much local jewelers typically charge for setting?

this is the lower price pave ring i like from them. Plus, it has has a real picture so you can see how it actually looks. I know its 50 bucks more though

yeah i think for the $50 more its somehow a lot more refined. and i mean, whats 50 dollars over years and years of wear. plus.... whats 50 for your happiness
