Setting and Diamond

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. We are thinking of buying the diamond from good old gold and getting the setting from gabrielny.com.

Is there a standard process for getting the diamond set? Who should be the one that sets the diamond, the diamond vendor or where we buy the setting?

Call GOG. They carry Gabriel and will tell you exactly what the process is. Keep it all in one place - let GOG do it all for you.

Some setting vendors have the diamond sent to them for them to set. I did that with GOG and they sent my diamond to Vatche to set. I am pretty sure Gabriel sets the stones and they are in NY, too. So it is easy for GOG to do.
