Barry and Mastercutgems have both recently posted some GORGEOUS blue tourmaline and they've all been scooped up! If you've got them, please post some pictures! It would make me so happy!

I was looking at Barry's tourmaline and deciding on whether I liked it, or needed it, or could accurately gauge the color... then I decided to look at his garnets. 2 minutes later, the tourmaline was gone!

I saw it first and went for it, and when I finished paying, I saw the other one...

i picked up the brighter blue BB tourmaline, the violet/blue spinel, and the oval carved chryophrase. i opened the box after it was already dark out today, so not sure what the blue tourm. looks like in daylight. Indoors, under energy saving bulbs, it looks like the darker blue/green tourm pic. Guess we'll have to see tomorrow!

I like yours better actually...from the pictures, mine might be a bit too dark IRL, but I don't know yet.

I looked at my blue/green tourmaline in sunlight, diffused outdoor lighting, indoor office bleh lighting, and inside a car. For the most part, it's a lil more green, and a tad darker than the pic. I was hoping it'd be a lil more blue. Very pretty stone tho. beautifully cut as usual!

As for the chrysophrase.. the color blew me away. I think i'm gonna have someone bezel it as a pendant!

didn't mean to put you on the spot. i was just curious because it would have been a drastic downgrade in size. what i wouldn't give for a large blue tourmaline!
