Oh good. I can be the ONE with a different opinion!
I have around $48k in the two (2+ct) diamonds I have for e-rings. So I could have one 3+ carat diamond if I wanted. But 2.3 cts (in a round) is all I care to wear on a daily basis as most people around me wear smaller than that. So I chose two stones over one big one.
So if most of your friends and family have around 2+ ct diamonds, then the slight upgrade to 2.75 won't be a big deal. Or if they all have smaller stones, you can still go big if you just like big diamonds! You have a tiny finger, though, and even 2.35 will look quite large. So think about reality is my suggestion. I'd choose the 2.35 H VS1 for myself because that's the max size I am comfortable wearing in a round on a daily basis. If you are young, it doesn't matter if you choose the 2.3 or 2.5 because you can always upgrade again if you find the stone too small next month or 10 years from now. I am just not in the camp of "bigger is better" for everyone. But I can't remember off hand what size you are wearing now. I do prefer VS clarity, as well. G and H color are great.
I'd take the 2.74 in a heartbeat. Like @HappyNewLife, my 2.97 ACA shrunk overnight...lol!!! I always thought 2cts was my absolute max size for daily wear, and now, my 2.97 seems so small![]()
I agree....even 4 carats would be amazing...but NO FUNDS.....lol!!!Seriously. I think we could rock 5 carats now(my bank account can not, unfortunately)
Oh and for those wondering why I was concerned about the 2.74 being too big, the below is a 3.01 HOF which measures 0.2mm bigger than the 2.74.
I’m not sure it is visually balanced (and looks huge don’t you think) which is why I was thinking smaller was better but I’ve since been shown the error of my ways

Please can you tell us your experiences of VS2 diamonds 'chipping off'?I will not recommend the 2.5ct not just because its a H color but because of the feather inclusions is alreafy touching the surface of the diamond. So theres a big chance it will chip off....

If you fell the 2.74ct is too big well best is to get the 2.3ct . All stones are decent cut and best ligthperformance under the scope analysis.![]()
Hmmmm.... okay, first of all, these are all CBI diamonds, which is a superideal branded cut. It is the best of the best, likened to ACA, VC, HOF, etc... To call the cut of these stones "decent" shows your inexperience/ignorance. So please do [a lot] more homework before attempting to "grade" these stones for others.
Is there a troll in our midst or is someone playing an early April Fools joke?![]()
Ozzz... maybe your classification of super ideal is not strict as mine. So sorry to say that these three diamonds if I grade it, well all fail to my creteria as a super ideal.![]()
I wanna hear your criterias on top ideal cuts...Ozzz... maybe your classification of super ideal is not strict as mine. So sorry to say that these three diamonds if I grade it, well all fail to my creteria as a super ideal.![]()

I've really been enjoying this troll the past few days. Has some rather funny opinions regarding diamonds falling apart and what constitutes an ideal cut.
I would recommend not responding anymore though. As they say, don't feed the troll.![]()
