Looking for people opinions on the two rings. I'm torn! I've looked at about a million photographs of each but ordering a diamond engagement ring online is nerve racking!
Welcoming expert and non-expert opinions alike please.

#1 is GIA certified and from a highly recommended dealer.

#2 is EGL rated (I've heard they are looser with their ratings) but I love the detail of the ring.

Please help!

I like the JBG ring. The stone looks bright and with the setting is very pretty.

Not getting much feeling about the stone in the other setting. I also dont like the setting as much.

The JBG would be my choice.

Thanks for your thoughts. It's just a little nerve racking buying a diamond engagement ring online so I'm looking for as much feedback as possible.

Grace's ring is a FAR better deal, aside from being a nicer setting and diamond with much higher specs (a GIA J compared to an EGL K which is more like L-M). Is her ring size close to a 6?

I like the first ring you posted. The diamond is better.

However, if you like the filigree setting of the second, can you pick a filigree setting from Jewels by Grace or Love Affair Diamonds and then pick one of their antique stones? Both Erica (Love Affair Diamonds) and Grace (Jewels by Grace) can help you find a diamond to fit the setting you like.

I found some filigree settings here:

last, My Diamond Zone has many replica filigree settings for good prices. They also have diamonds.

If the choice is between the two rings you linked, I like the Jewels by Grace one better. Good luck!

The first one.
not only does it seem as if it is a better value price wise I think it's going to look very substantial on the hand,

Also if you prefer a specific setting perhaps you can buy the antique stone and then put it in the antique mount of your choice.

The Jewels by Grace option, without question. The stone seems brighter and I prefer the setting. I understand it is quite nerve-wracking to buy online. However, Grace is a pleasure to work with and offers returns if you don't like it in person.

I decided to go for the first link, the one from Jewels by Grace! Thank you all for your opinions, a little internet affirmation makes the decision much less stressful.
Grace confirmed that its a great ring and with all the suggestions I've read about her and her site from here it seems like she's someone I can trust.

She had this to say about the ring, which makes me feel even better...
"you picked a truly gorgeous ring (it looks HUGE on the finger too - bonus for us gals, haha)"

Now comes the fun of figuring out just how to pop the question
