Searching for Tacori ring and diamond

I'm searching for Tacori 2622PR pave engagement ring (pic below) and a great diamond and am reaching out for help finding it. It would be nice to find the Tacori ring at a discount, but so far I haven't had luck with flexibility on the price. I've been to many local big box and small jewelers looking at diamonds in person, but haven't found anything of interest due to quality or value. I've had a few emails back and forth with GOG and have been checking their online diamond inventory regularly. They don't seem to get new stock as often as I thought they would. I do like that they provide light performance with most of their diamonds. I don't know of any other place that provides this information.

My diamond requirements are currently ranges: Princess cut, .8 - .99 ct., F - G color and VS2 - VS1 clarity.

I'm located in northern VA. Does anyone have any advice for good places to work with locally, or if not, what's the best way to work with vendors from other states, such as GOG?

Thank you.

Overstock.com does sell genuine Tacori rings for much less than retail. They are always in a size 6 and they are set with one or one and a half carat CZ's so that you can pop those out and replace them with your diamond.

You are looking for a princess? You don't need VS clarity. Princesses hide inclusions incredibly well and eyeclean SI clarity stones are very easy to find. What is your diamond budget?

Thank you, Gypsy, for the quick reply. We've been looking at engagement rings together for a year, and everytime we look at other options she comes back to the Tacori ring mentioned above. I never considered SI1's, but I took a look at the diamond you suggested, spoke with GOG and put it on hold while we go over specifics. It looks like an excellent choice.

:appl: I think it's a lovely stone. And hopefully the rest will fall into place. If you want a more affordable setting with an antique look check out Beverly K: http://www.beverleyk.com/ their quality is excellent, their prices a lot lower than Tacori and GOG carries the line as well.

Hi vespagym,

I have been looking for the Beverly K halo setting you posted a link to (R1191_A), but can't find anyone selling it. It seems Beverly K doesn't offer these semi-mounts for sale directly to customers. Can you tell me where I may be able to find a price for this semi-mount? I am also in Northern Virginia.

Thanks in advance!

I apologize. GOG has this setting on their site. I just missed it. Thanks!
