Searching for a band that combines both Rose and White and Gold

Hello,
I am looking for a band to stack between a 1.5ct Rose Gold five stone ring and a 2mm Platinum band that combines both rose and white gold together and am wondering if anyone knows of any existing styles out there? I would like it to be somewhere within the range of 1.5mm to 2.5mm. Tinysparklestudio on Etsy has several twisted wire bands like the one below, which could work, but aren’t exactly what I am looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

I always liked Cartier Trinity Ring
http://www.cartier.com/en-us/collec...088900-trinity-de-cartier-ring,-xs-model.html

Well under $1000 for a 18k gold ring. Not bad for Cartier.

I have always loved their bands too and the price does seem reasonable. I am sentimental about wearing my plain polished 2 mm platinum wedding band though and was looking for something to go between the plain band and the rose gold five stone. I don’t think I have seen anyone wear a plain band plus the Trinity Ring together next to each other in a stack. I will have to try to find a picture of that to get a better idea of the look. Thanks for the idea!

I just typed in two tone rings in google a found a few of the below images Are you thinking of something like the below?

There's this platinum & rose gold tiffany ring, also under $1000:
http://www.tiffany.ca/engagement/mens-wedding-bands/band-ring-GRP02811

I was actually searching for Tiffany's version of the rolling ring, as they do 2-interlocking rings in rose and white gold. However I couldn't find it on their site, and could only find a few on eBay/other reselling sites:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tiffany-Co-White-Rose-Gold-18k-Palomas-Picasso-Calife-Double-Band-Ring-Sz-6/173199452880

(No idea if above listing is authentic or not) And it seems too thick, though I thought I remembered seeing thinner versions... hmm.

There's also this one on etsy:
https://www.etsy.com/hk-en/listing/569342271/gold-interlocked-rings-14k-two-tone

I just like rolling rings because they're fun to play with, but if rolling isn't what you're into there's tons of cool two-tone options. Have fun searching! :)

2Neezers-

Please post a photo of the two rings you want the other one between, preferably on your finger. I know that it will be easier for me to visualize if I can actually see them. I do not think I, personally, would like a Cartier rolling ring as a stacking ring. By the way, I love the idea of what you are doing. I love gold.

I have always liked the Sheldon Speyer mini mania rings which are now made by Platinum Plus. The website is uninviting and hard to navigate, but they seem to make very thin bands in all different colors. (The band pictured is rose gold with pink sapphires, which you would not want.) I wonder if you could actually stack some-maybe 3-and still remain under 2 mm. I was thinking that ultra thin rose and white bands would be available. I do not think the band pictured is the thinnest they make.

Thank you for all of these great suggestions! I will look in to all of them.

I’ll try to get a good picture of the rings together this weekend. I thought since the five stone was rose gold and my weding band is platinum, that it would be nice to stack something in the middle that combines the white and rose colors. I will have to look at pictures of mixed metals, because maybe I don’t even need to add a third band? I’ve always been a strictly white gold or platinum girl, but thought I’d branch out of my comfort zone a little with this rose gold five stone ring.

You are very brave, 2Neezers! You branched out and got the rose gold. Now try on some rings to see if you like one (or more) between the two you now have. If you don't like the look, you can scrub the idea!

Actually, I was just thinking, if you plan to wear the additional ring in the middle of your five stone and wedding band, a rolling ring would be useless (can't roll it around!).

I'd like to see the rings together too! You're probably fine without adding anything.

The 5 stone in rose gold looks something like this, but not as chunky as this picture
422F8F85-39A8-4A90-9FA1-FFD54125A133.jpeg
And the platinum wedding band is basic like this one

This would be for days when I wear the five stone as an alternative e-ring instead of a right hand ring. Would I need to put something between the two metal colors, or would it be fine to mix the metals as is?

Great idea! I do have some bands I can try just to see if I like the various looks first. I haven’t wore anything but white metal since the early 90’s, so this was a big leap for me, but I do love the rose gold and will be getting more in the future!

Deb Blazer also has a lot of thin spacers in a variety of gold colours including green gold and different shapes and textures

Hi again, 2Neezers-

If your ring has the general look of the rose gold five stone you posted, then you have a great right hand ring and a ring that is classic and can certainly be worn with a simple platinum wedding band on your left hand without raising any eyebrows. Everyone mixes metals nowadays! If you enjoy tying the two left hand rings together simply for the fun of it, go for it! It's a challenge. A fashion challenge. Sort of like designing a ring. (Whenever I design a new ring or a new pair of earrings I always bring the Pricescope community into the project!) Just know that it isn't necessary. You can wear your rings as they are right now. What you have right now is, in my opinion, the jewelry equivalent of a Little Black Dress. If you want to accessorize it (them), that is purely up to your personal taste!

This Etsy site (with which I am unfamiliar) offers ultra thin solid gold bands in rose and white colors. The vendor sells band individually or in packs of five. If you wished, you could buy some white bands and some rose ones and place them (in whatever order you liked) between you five stone ring and platinum wedding band. I think the effect would be better than a rolling ring band that cannot roll! Maybe three bands would work...two of one color and one of the other, or five.

I found this new (to me) site today while looking for rings that combined rose gold and a white metal. I had heard of Brilliant Earth products, but never really focused on them. There is a petite twisted vine ring that might be able to be made up in platinum and rose gold, but-although it is beautiful-I am not sure how much it would differ from other twisted gold bands that other posters have already put up in this thread.

This is the band to which I was referring. It is sold without diamonds, although I did not see a picture of the rose and white without diamonds on the website.

I know it's not white gold but platinum and 18k rose, this is my favorite mixed metal color band. I actually have the 4mm and it feels so luxe and smooth, I want to get the slimmer one. I have mixed it with white gold with no problems.

ETA: I don't know why the link says men's band. I know they have the women's version, but I am on the road right now and can't find it. Sorry.

That would tie in the white and rose metals beautifully, Sandeek. I love that.

If there are any gold lovers following this thread who are unaware of The Gold Thread, I just want to make you aware of it and urge you to post all of your gold finds there. Many of us diamond lovers here on Pricescope have also been bitten by the gold bug! Any gold items are welcome here, jewelry and other items. cflutist recently posted a photo of her solid gold flute! Many of us also love high karat gold and there are pieces from Asia, The Middle East, South Asia, and and other parts of the globe featured in the thread, too. Also "Swedish gold" and English gold and jewelry bought on trips to South America. This thread has it all...if it's gold!

Where did you see those rings, Lookinagain? Can one see them in rose and white metals? I bet they would look good in rose and white. I would also like to see them without the stones (just out of curiosity). Thank you for sharing those. (Although I will not be buying and rose gold and platinum or rose and white gold bands anytime soon unless this thread makes me crazy...which it might! Stranger things have happened to me on Pricescope! One starts to look for someone else and then starts to drool....)

Deb/AGBF :wavey:

ETA-As I look again, the one on the left looks as if it may be rose gold. But the one on the right looks like yellow gold.

I did a google image search on my phone. Sorry, I thought you were just looking for ideas to have something made, perhaps. I will see if I can find them again and try to figure out whose page they were found on by the search.

They are both rose gold, by the way.

I was going to post the Tiffany band because it was the first thing that crossed my mind.

http://www.tiffany.com/engagement/m...e&trackpdp=bg&trackgridpos=151&fromcid=716543

I think you wouldn't have this problem if you had just had the prongs done in platinum and the shank in rose gold for your 5 stone ring. But it will help if we can see a picture of both rings together. The white of the diamonds might tie in the platinum band.

Another option is to wear the platinum band in the middle and wear a rose gold band at the bottom.

the first one leads to Pinterest, but also to a jeweler but the page doesn't seem to exist anymore
