I don''t like those "new and improved" scented sanitary pad. It feels weird to me, almost telling people, I am wearing it. Some stores don''t even carry the Unscented pads anymore. Do you like the scented or the unscented ones?

I just have to ask, is nothing sacred?

ROFL big freaking ditto to this!

NO pad is scented enough to tell people you''re wearing it, unless you run around in your panties only, and then you have bigger problems than a smell.

LOL. ok, it could be just my state of mind.. but when i tried them, i could seriously smell it. I used couple pads, then throw away the rest.

LOL. But seriously, I have to tell you that when I was in 7th grade, it was the first day of school, everyone went inside when the morning bell rang, and this girl I''d know for most of elementary school was walking upstairs with me and totally asked me if I had my period. I turned red, I''m sure, and I asked her how she knew, she said she could smell it! I was so terribly embarrassed. Horrible first day of school experience. It was that damn scented pad. Some people really do have sensitive noses and can smell anything.

And I agree, this is not a topic I normally would respond to, but that ONE day turned me off of pads, scented or not, forever. I just about died.

Well, ya know...there is definitely a mindset out there that isn''t bothered by things like this and doesn''t hold women''s reproductive functions sacred. Maybe this isn''t necessarily the best place to post a topic such as this, but you know...it''s not THAT terrible or offensive, is it? Never mind. It does strike me as a very "out there" question.

GREAT TOPIC, LOVEGEM! ROFL

Sorry to those feel uncomfortable about this topic. To me, they are no different than asking what brand of toilet paper anyone uses. I should have been more considerate about other people''s feeling.

My DH worked in a pharmacy before. He told me that there were a number of times that guys would looked very puzzled in THAT particular section because they had to get some pads for the wifey because of whatever reasons. so it is not a NO-NO topic for guys.

Cheers.

I prefer the unscented pads. The scented ones make me itch.

It would be interesting to know who uses 1-ply sheet for no. 1. Any takers for 2 ply for a no. 2? I hope you are not advocating that that for the env''t, moh.

"Manopause." Are you kidding me? DF....you''re a piece of work. I don''t mean that as an insult, I just think you''re silly. Like others, I knew it wouldn''t be long until you posted something in this thread.

Anyway...it was just one of those questions that may have been better off asked on a different website, but hey! Why NOT Pricescope? Diamonds=women=feminine issues, or so the stereotype goes.

LOL

You guys are phenomenal. Love you all.

Really? (to the general audience)

Wow, Monnie. You should keep that story to yourself from now on!

I don''t like scented pads. Odor absorbing are fine, but not scented. My vagina is not a vase, it should not have flowers near it.

HA! to the guy''s responses too funny.

What stores don''t sell unscented? All the ones I shop at do

Target, for example.

That is all I have to say re: this topic.

Pads? Uh, no! TAMPONS are the only way to go!

So glad I don''t have to worry about this anymore.
