Well AGBF, its not a secret:
I was born in a small city in the south west of France not far from Bordeaux!

In fact I''m a French but living outside the hexagone for a long time and trying to improve both my english and my gemological skills visiting forums like this one... LOL

Actually, since I did *not* place the correct accent on the "ou", I *did* ask, "or you were born?". However, I was counting on Mogok taking the comment in context and knowing I just couldn't add the accent! With the accent I would have been asking, "WHERE were you born?". I lost my chart of how to place accents and only recall one combination: alt 1-3-0 for é!!!

I was born in a small city in the south west of France not far from Bordeaux!

I lived in Paris briefly, but I have not been back for many, many years. Seven years ago my husband, daughter, and I spent some time in St. Tropez, however. We had been in Italy visiting his family and decided to see a bit of Provence. That is also when I saw Monaco. My husband, being from Genoa (Gênes) had often been to Monaco as well as to Corsica.
