Not jewellery related, however, Royal Mint in the UK has a set of commemorative coins to celebrate the 75th birthday of the Princess Royal, my favourite; and I have bought a 2-coin set.
Why oh why did they choose the dreadful pine cone tiara when they could have chosen the more elegant Greek Key or the festoon???

Has the actual portrait been released? It look beautiful!
I miss the times when the courts would release formal portraits of the various family members in jewels, orders and decorations. I don't think Catherine has ever posed in a tiara yet!

Oh yes, of course I've seen this one! But it's not the type of photo I had in mind.
What I long to see is the type of formal portrait the likes of Cecil Beaton, Lord Snowdon, Erwin Olaf or Mario Testino would've taken. All posed in a formal and carefully thought out setting, not casually posing in your back yard on the way to dinner with the French president
Here's an ode to past portraits

This lady does amazing historical videos and posted this one. Isn’t this amazing? It looks like LA or another warm region by the plants.

its really cool that it has an owner who loves it and it hasnt been broken up
sloppy of Sotheby's to not notice its pedigree nor bothered to photograph it to its best
I love Moon Honey and her vids! I've been following her for an year or so and she recently replied to (a rather informative) comment I made. Definitely felt special!
Yes, the Cartier headband/bandeau vid was pretty cool.
