Not jewellery related, however, Royal Mint in the UK has a set of commemorative coins to celebrate the 75th birthday of the Princess Royal, my favourite; and I have bought a 2-coin set.

Has the actual portrait been released? It look beautiful!
I miss the times when the courts would release formal portraits of the various family members in jewels, orders and decorations. I don't think Catherine has ever posed in a tiara yet!

Don't think so about the Princess Royal's portrait being released.

One of the glossy magazines had a cover with Catherine in a tiara, and it is dreadful IMHO, as it looks nothing like her. She looks kind of oriental, if you know what I mean. :roll2:

it looks like ti was painted by a school kid (no disrespect to any budding artists intended )

i looked at that coin that DK posted and thought that had to be one of the nicest images of a person ive ever seen on a coin
