Round loose Diamond- Need input on measurements

Ok, lets try this again. I started a thread and it dissappeared into thin air.
I am needing everyones ''expert'' opinions! How do these measurements add up to everyones likes or dislikes?

Meas...................................7.36 - 7.40 X 4.45 mm

Weight.................................1.50 CT

Clarity..................................SI1

Color....................................G

Cut....................................... ROUND BRILLIANT

Enhancements.......................NONE

I would appreciate any and all opinions! I used to think I knew what I was talking about! or at least looking at, but this seems to go over my head. maybe being five months pregnant has something to do with it!

Brooke, that is not enough information to have any idea about the stone. What kind of certificate does it have? We need more measurements:

table
depth
crown angle
pavision angle
girdle
flourescence

all we can really tell about this diamond is that it measures about right for a 1.5ct diamond.
if you want anymore meaniful input than that, you will have to provide much (much much) more information.

Brooke, we need the crown and pavillion angles as 'Seeks and Miss Belle say above, otherwise we can't help you assess this diamond. If this is a recent GIA report, you should find those on there. However the table is on the larger side at 59% and the girdle could be better at med - thick...If you have seen this diamond and love it then fine, but on paper you could get a tighter cut. In it's favour it is a popular size, colour and clarity combo. See if you can get the other info, an Idealscope from the vendor if he has one would be most useful too.
