I''m trying to find the setting of my dreams, and would LOVE your suggestions! I''ve been searching and searching, but I just can''t find the one. =(
Budget for the setting= $1500
What I like: thin bands (3mm or smaller), double prongs, platinum, accent diamonds, low maintenance, elegant, romantic, antique-looking, comfortable, not easily damaged, ability to resize in the future and I want the wedding band to sit flush. Minor amounts of filigree engraving is nice but not required. I also like small amounts of milgrain, also not required.
I''m setting a Regent cut diamond 0.91 carats that I am buying! Think modified square H&A cut similar to a cushion.
Examples of settings I like-
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/ring-completed-pics-and-acknowledgements-included.34326/ This is so pretty! I even like the pink surprise
(But it is not double pronged, probably can''t be resized, etc)
http://www.knoxjewelers.biz/index.htm?crn=203&rn=1535&action=show_detail A tad too much engraving for me, and they don''t sell settings unless you buy the diamond from them
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/ritani-rings.22547/ This is really pretty, but I need resizing ability, and this is also probably too expensive =(
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/fancy-color-candy.15041/ I like her saturn setting, but most likely cannot afford =(

I saw a pretty platinum ring with 8 small prong set diamonds on the setting, and I liked that look.
I really like MM''s torchiere setting with hidden diamonds, but I can''t do 6 prongs on my squarish shape I think.
I would LOVE your suggestions!!! I''m kind of at a loss as to how to find a gorgeous setting within budget! =(
