Please give me some advice on getting this Rolex repaired. Who is a company that I can trust. I am just sick about my watch. I just love it.
Thanks LM

There should an authorised Rolex repair/ servicing centre in the area where you live. In HK, there is one and in Singapore, there is also one. I''ve taken mine to them for repairs/ servicing a few times and it''s great. My watch always comes back spick and span. Just look up the Yellow Pages, or whatever your equivalent is (a directory of services available in alphabetical order in yr area).

I need to have my Rolex reconditioned. My local store has to send it to their authorized rep in another state...for this service I will have give them $600 and wait 2-3 months for my watch to be returned. I live in Virginia. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I was also told that the wait for sending it directly to Rolex in NY is similar

Yup, SBT. Takes a while, but the only way to do it, IMHO. There are no short cuts.

Thanks, Kaleigh. I hoped there was another way, but I''ll have to send her off for a long stay in the Rolex Retreat

I would send it to the Authorized Rolex dealer for any repairs or service. They know the inside and out of the watch, have the right tools and parts and knowledge to fix it. Yes, it''ll take longer but you know it''s in good hands. Plus, this will keep the warranty and guarantees on the watch valid.

We have had ours done a couple of times each. Seems to me we paid in the $350 range (except for the time DH got water in his. Then it was $600+). It took weeks (3 - 5ish) not months, but is really the only option. We have used several authorized Rolex repair places. The option is to send it directly to Rolex in NY, but that seemed to be the longer route. I would consider shopping around for authorized service people. Call Rolex and see if they can refer you to several aithorized service places. I also found that some have a 1 year warrenty on their work, and some 2.
