I'll admit I'm a little nervous.
I don't want to plan what I'll say- and in fact, I have not heard who the scientist will be and have no idea what they will say.

But I'm an avid NPR listener, so this was a very welcome surprise.......

I will absolutely be thrilled to report on how they did the interview, after it's done.
Another "interesting" aspect for me is that they'll be calling me about 7am- and I'm not the most ........well, I'm not a morning person.
I do think I'll take a walk or bike ride at dawn to get my blood flowing.....

I feel you on the morning issue. Sometimes it's just easier to get up extra early so that your body has time to get going (I am so envious of those who jump out of bed and are completely aware from the get go).

Well it's done! And it's already aired! It was quite cool. First I got to listen to the scientist talk about the planet for a while, and then I got asked a few questions. I was only on for about 30 seconds, but it was a lot of fun. I'll post a recording of it later on

I dunno... often times what's most entertaining about those Car Talk guys is how they take someone's question about their car, and use it as a platform for dispensing relationship advice.
