Who is everyone''s favorite place online to get Ritani? I would prefer to not get in here in CA because of the taxes involved

I love the look of this setting - however the price is above my price range. Anyone know a good (gasp) replica even without the pave within the shank...

I would go to Pearlmans. I believe he is the only Pricescope vendor to carry the line. If you love the real deal as is i'd suggest getting it.

ETA: i didn't click on your link until after I responded. I see you already found Pearlmans. I'd give him a call, discuss you budget and see if you might be able to negotiate on the price a bit...it never hurts to ask

True, buying out of state will save you on taxes (although technically, you''re supposed to state that on your tax return), but you may be able to get a vendor to come down off their price and buy locally.

Here''s a link to something I posted recently. I live in Los Angeles and ended up buying from Robbins Bros (setting only) because I felt better buying from a local store so that I can take the ring in to get in cleaned and checked regularly.

Oh yeah, what esguy27 said about taxes is probably right. We bought my diamond from WF but will have to pay a "use tax" on it by claiming it in our tax return. But I think that varies by state, so you''d have to see if CA has such a thing. I feel like most states do.
