Oh, You''re very welcome!Date: 5/24/2008 10:17:04 PM

Thanks for posting those. I don''t think I realized the profile looked like that. It''s not really shown on their site.
I LOVE the band. I wish they could have figured out a simpler way to design the e-ring though. The thickness and sharper points make it uncomfortable.Date: 5/24/2008 10:47:57 PM

Yeah. That's surprising to me too. Looks like they wanted to support it and still allow for flush fit.
I'm getting the Bella Vita eternity band from Pearlmans (haven't placed order-- having other pressing issues with wedding) for my wedding band though so I was really curious about the side profile of the halo setting. Thanks for posting the pics!
Sure, the stone was around .72. It is VERY delicate IRL.Date: 5/24/2008 10:52:44 PM

Do you happen to know what size the center stone is? I''m just curious about the proportions of the halo.
Glad to help! You never know about a ring until you see its profile.Date: 5/24/2008 10:54:41 PM

Your timing couldn''t be more perfect - I was told to look at these yesterday and it''s so much what I am after. I too was curious about the profile.
Thanks!

Hi, I found it to be scratchy and thick and it felt like something stuck between my fingers. It feels a lot like how a prong set eternity band feels. I like thin and smooth bands though. I would recommend trying it on before deciding as this may not bother you. Hope this helps!Date: 5/25/2008 8:52:40 PM

Heb, how is it uncomfortable? I know it''s a broad question, but I''m trying to work out if it''s uncomforable for the fingers next to the ring, or... how?
It does, very much so. It is my understanding that the band should be thinner on the profile to combat this, or the fishtail pave slightly rounded? I ask as I am having a ring made and it was mentioned to me to have a look at the Bella Vita for inspiration, and I am using it as reference for my jeweller. I dont have the luxury of trying it on, it''s not available down under. It would be so helpful if it was. I''d probably buy it without going throught this hoopla!Date: 5/25/2008 10:03:48 PM
