#TBT Ring upgade - Custom Verragio with heart diamond

Hello all!

I normally only lurk, but I just had to share this here.

My original ering is an antique amethyst set in platinum with pave diamonds. It is beautiful, but not practical to wear every day. It was frustrating to feel apprehensive about wearing my engagement ring for fear of damaging it.

My husband worked with WhiteFlash & Verragio to create the ring of my dreams. It's been months in the works and he just gave it to me yesterday - the end result was an amazing surprise as I knew he was having the ring made, but did not know what it would look like. He chose the stone and setting himself (with guidance from me on general setting style, diamond shape, and metal), which adds a really nice sentimental touch. I absolutely love it - it is perfect for me.

Anyhow, here it is (metal is 18k rose):

Diamond is GIA certed: 1.05 carat, VS2, J color (with med. blue fluorescence)
