Ring Marked ING + 14K

Hi Everyone,

I found a thread from 2004 regarding this same thing, but it appears to be archived and I cannot view it. I have a lovely diamond ring purchased from an estate jeweler, and the inside is marked ING 14K. I am not familiar with this and my Google search has not lead me to any conclusions. I believe the ring is fairly modern. Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like Dancing Fire didn't get any replies to that query. He often posts in the Hangout - you might try to get his attention there and see whether he knows any more about it now - 13(!) years later.
