I thought I would come here to ask if anyone can recommend a good All Inclusive Adults Only resort in Mexico, preferably in the Playa del Carmen area?

Check out Zoetry. While it isn't adults only, they have no amenities for kids, so it doesn't attract families. Secrets is another good choice.

Thanks! We are looking at Iberostar Grand Hotel, Secrets Maroma and Excellence Riviera Cancun or Playa Mujeres. I am getting so confused!

We stayed at Secret Maroma Beach 2 years ago. It was great. The only all-inclusive place DH, who is superpicky, wanted to visit again.

We stayed at the El Dorado Royale and loved it.

We got some kind of magical last minute deal so didn't pay regular price.

Some time after we went, it received an excellent review in O magazine.

We went in March, the weather was excellent.

Good luck!!!

We spent New Years at the Valentin Imperial Maya 4 years ago and loved it. Actually we had so much fun we bought my parents a trip there for their 30th anniversary later that year.

We have stayed at Valentin Imperial Maya 4 times. The landscaping is gorgeous and even at 100 percent capacity it never feels crowded due to the large footprint. It should be noted that the Valentin Imperial Maya is less price wise than Secrets Maroma and Excellence (and therefore a step down in food; however, it still is very good).

Honestly, I don't think you would be unhappy with any of the resorts you have listed. Tripadvisor reviews and photos by people who stayed at the resort are very helpful in deciding.

Good luck and let us know where you decide to go!

I'm on research overload...everyone here knows what I'm talking about!! Haha!
