Hey guys, I think I've really done my homework and landed a decent deal on my first diamond purchase. It is a Y-Z stone, so Im not expecting a miracle, but think it will look nice in a proper setting. I got it from Leibish at $22,400. Pic and specs are below. I have read a ton about Leibish and everyone seems to really like them. Has anyone dealt with Amir Fogel or Sandy Ray? Any thoughts on this stone. Im thinking of having Diamonds by Lauren mount it. They seem to specialize in light colored stones.

Well, I just bought it...have 30 days in which I can return it. Does anyone have any opinions on it?

Do you have a link to it you can post?

I don't think DBL takes outside stones (but maybe that policy has changed or he'll make an exception for a high value stone).

Not sure what sort of comments you are hoping to get. You know it is a Y/Z so it needs a good setting to play up the colour. A video will be great to see how sparkly it is.

Well, here is my take on it...I'm not liking the lack of symmetry I see in the picture. With that being said, it is only 1 static picture.
A video would be really helpful. It is a large stone at a really low price (IMO) so something has to give.

You are having it sent to you first to have a look right? Seeing it in person would make all the difference to me.
Is this for an engagement ring or a right-hand ring?

I wonder if it got dinged for the Good symmetry. No video? The cut is very unusual so I wonder how it performs in person.

I got the stone in last week and its fantastic. Color is better in person. The thick girdle really does eliminate the bowtie effect it seems. Took it to a Mayors show event and had their designer put my idea to paper...this is what we end up with. Everything is drawn to size for her finger (size 3 3/4)
