I'm glad you are taking the advice the others offered. The 2.75 G VS2 HOF sounds amazing, plus it was the stone you two were engaged with (even if no one else knew), so I would want to keep it as my e-ring stone for sentimental reasons (and there is really no need to upgrade for quality or size reasons either). Just enjoy your beautiful new setting for the "official" engagement and save the $20K for somethign else -- there's really no reason to duplicate.
