Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking this site for a while trying to collect information so that I can make the right decision in regards to purchasing a diamond for an e-ring. This will be my first diamond purchase, and while I am beginning to understand how each aspect influences the look of the stone, I am still having difficulty putting them all together, so that I can consider the big picture.

I think I have narrowed my choices down to 4 diamonds. I'd like it to be bright, and sparkle above all else.
The diamond will be going into a halo setting. I understand that the manufacturer uses f-g diamonds in the halo. Will choosing an h or i colour diamond cause visual clashing in real world conditions?

I know I should contact gog with these questions, but what are the chances that this inclusion would be visible to the naked eye? Has anyone experienced cloudiness in diamonds with only faint fluorescence?

Thanks for the help in advance, I greatly appreciate it.

To moderators: I've created this new account as I believe a few of my girlfriend's friends may frequent this site, and my previous username was too recognizable.

No chance for faint to be cloudy, you will not even see it in unless in a dark room with UV illum.

Eye-cleanliness, no way to tell for sure without the stone in hand.

2 color grade difference is usually acceptable for side stones.

yeah I would go with G or H color just because with the halo the size difference will not be as noticeable.

I agree with this. I think the size difference between the Whiteflash 1.22 I (6.86x6.87) and the 1.31 H (6.67x6.70) will be very slight- possibly undetectable to the eye. But the color will be closer to the melee in the halo. It might put your mind at ease that the H is closer to the F-G. Either way, the color and size difference will most likely be unnoticable to your eye.
