Referral for custom made sapphire jewwelry?

Hi all,

I have seen a lot of referrals for diamond rings but was wondering if anyone has had experience with a jeweler who has done a custom made ring / earrings / necklace with sapphires.

I am hoping to have pink sapphires with diamonds for my set but am not finding a lot of info on getting this custom made. (basing my set off of the Tiffany Legacy collection)

Any pictures or any info or advice at all would be helpful.

Quest Jewelers in VA has made a few gorgeous pieces like that. I *think* they made London Blue's gorgeous replica. I'll try and find it for you.

Here is a thread with a picture of the set about 1/2way down. Quest did do it.

As for sapphires, the Natural Sapphire Company in NY has a great reputation and beautiful stones!

Does Quest sell loose sapphires? I went to their website but am only finding loose diamonds. Not sure if I am not looking in the correct place. Also, does Natural Sapphire Company make custom rings? I only see loose stones for sale - nothing about custom sets. I realize I may have to go through a couple companies to get this done, but was hoping to deal with just one total.

BTW....absolutely LOVE your avatar. My favorite cut is asscher and favorite color is blue - that one is gorgeous. In fact, for my Tiffany Legacy style set I am hoping to have made I was considering putting asscher instead of cushion cut but am worried it might be too ''busy''. I still haven''t decided which cut to use for sure.
