After anyone gets the chance to review the above, I was also wondering if this is how the appraisal process typically goes:
(1) purchase diamond
(2) diamond shipped to appraiser; appraiser reviewers
(3) if in order, shipped back to vendor for mounting
(4) diamond then available for pickup or shipping
Or other ways?

Sorry about that, I came across the tutorial for posting all on one after I had already posted the pics.
That last stone is a 1.23 F/VS1, Depth 69.8, Table 71, EX pol, VG sym, faceup 6.13x6.03x4.21. That's the one that's in the youtube posted above.
It seems most votes from the previous bunch went to the 1.51 G/VS2.
I have a question - and that is regarding the visual difference between this 1.23 and the 1.51. The 1.51 is 6.37x6.21x4.52. Do you think there's going to be much of a noticeable difference between the two? The 1.51 is about 1200 more, and has one grade lower in color and one grade lower in clarity. However, the 1.51 is available from Excel, and I am in close proximity to their NYC showroom. The 1.23 is through Union, and I believe they are located in Atlanta, so that would be done remotely. Part of thinks it is worth it to go with the 1.23 as it's been described as amazing, and its face-up dimensions are pretty close (I think) to the 1.51. Plus, it's an F, which I would prefer to a G, and is a VS1. Any good way to decide on this?
ETA: I think I was sort of hoping that one of the 5 was no good, to help narrow down the choice![]()

One way, if you have the liquidity for it..., is to use the return period of Union Diamond, buy it and bring it to compare them all together at the Excel Showroom.
Size and spec wise they would be difficult to tell apart separately, side by side it is easier.
At least now it is only comparing 4 stones, I think the 1.3 didn''t get any votes...
Seems like all the stones you are looking into are good. Good job...Now it is hair pulling time for you. Good luck.
