Hi All,
A few days ago I went browsing with my FI at a mall and we ended up going into Cartier, Tiffany and Harry Winston. The diamonds of course looked beautiful in their display, but I started to wonder how the cut quality of their RB's are compared to RB's such as HoF, Tolkowsky, BGD,WF and other top H&A's? How do such establishments determine the cut? How do they differ to H&A's? I'm sure their cut meets certain parameters, but if all other C's were the same in comparison who wins in the cut department? It would be awesome to see a comparison in fire and scincillation. I wonder how it would look viewing their center stones in a ideal scope, H&A viewer, etc....
Anyway besides paying for the brand name and setting quality, is the cut worth the cut of such places!
