Ok so now that I have googled Lil Uzi, I have to say, I LIKE that he has a unique style. He has a lot of color and weird custom stuff going on. And is king of the neck mess layered chain look. (I guess the secret to keeping chains from tangling is to get heavy AF diamond encrusted links!) It is interesting. Posting pics for those unfamiliar with him.

I don't think safety is an issue. I can't imagine there's much of a market for giant stolen pink diamonds that used to be in somebody's head.

Also dermal anchors seem like a life threatening infection waiting to happen but his body, his choice. I wish him health and happiness with his new bauble.

But yeah, I'm with the rest of you all about the face part. I'm assuming its a publicity stunt, get his name in from of a larger audience by being in the papers. But man that's got to hurt!
