Are these specs AOK for a Radiant cut diamond?

What else am I looking for to find the perfect *stats* diamond?

Would like it to be longer (6.5X5) more of an emerald then a square

I wouldn't worry so much about cut grades with radiants, I would shop somewhere with pictures so you can see them. For example JA will let you get asset images for up to three diamonds, which will give you an idea of light return. I don't know what your budget is but here are some examples.

Have you picked those stats because you have seen radiant cut stones in person and that's your preference or did you puck them becaus they seem like a safe bet to you? Even if you are purchasing online I would like at radiant stones in person to determine your color "sweet spot". Fancy cut stones tend to show a bit more color than rounds so keep that in mind if you are buying by dates and not from in person experience.

There's no "perfect stat stone" any more than there's a "perfect car" "perfect house" or anything else that is judged in a manner where subjective opinion comes into play.

In terms of color- as Amy suggested, you need to look at some diamonds and see.
If a J color is attractive to you ( it is to a fair number of shoppers) than it makes ZERO sense to shop for G+ stones.

There's also a number of different facet patterns you will encounter.
It seems as some of the cutters are trying to avoid the "crushed Ice" look- while others ( including the company that invented the Radiant Cut) work on ways of improving the dazzling look of crushed ice.
This again, is a taste based issue.

I buy a lot of radiant cut diamonds- and NEVER do it by the numbers- so my advice on selection is to use your eyes.
you may very well pick a stone with 70 table and 70 depth ( or any other numbers outside your initial specs) that appeals to your eyes the most.

Those look like nice diamonds but the depth is a little to much for me. I asked for more images from JA but they said on live chat they can't produce anymore image?

Great point- if a person has no frame of reference, that will make selection far more daunting.
Personally, I like a radiant cut with a lot of flash- and limited dark areas- the crushed ice look.
The name itself should help give you an idea what to look for.

But I would certainly recommend looking at stones from a few different dealers.
On the web, check for sites with a lot of photos- and video to assist you in getting an idea what you like

perfectly ulgy stones with "perfect stats" as well as lovely stones with not so perfect stats. You can buy rounds by the
numbers but its different with fancy cuts. They vary so widely.

My method...find what appeals to your eyes then use an aset image to look at the light return. Also post here for feedback.
Pricescopers that have been looking at stones for a while can be a big help when it comes to looking at images.

Maybe I mis-read the measurements of stones at first.

I am looking for the Length to be the 6.5 and the Width to be 5.* more of an emerald style instead of a square style.
