Hi everyone,

It’s time for to pick an engagement ring for my future fiancé.She likes both Radiant cut and Oval cut but I think she likes the Radiant cut more (not square one but more like rectangular). I like the Oval more since it’s more traditional look.

Anw, my budget isfrom $10,000 to $15,000 and I want to buy her around 1.5 carats one. She doesn’t like yellow tint so the color will be at least G and up?! I know I can’t pick a radiant from the numbers so I would want the advices from you guys who has much more experience. She likes it’s clear, bright, and sparkle but also the crushed ice look from the radiant (if it makes any sense).

Below I have listed some videos and hopefully you guys can point out what’s good and bad so we will know what we should look for. Any advices and recommendations would be very appreciated!

She really likes the look of this one but it was posted a year ago so it’s goneA9169255-99BE-469A-A994-9E3CB6F2FF57.jpeg

I happened to see a nice 1.70 the other day:

IF she doesn't like yellow tint, you may want to even stay above G. Fancy color diamonds are often cut as radiants because the cut concentrates color and bounces a lot of light around inside the stone.

That is a pretty one @kb1gra !

For a more of a crushed ice look you might contact Diamonds by Lauren (@Rockdiamond ). I think he is pretty good at picking them out.

I can pick the non-crushed ice but really have problems telling which crushed iced ones have good light return.

This one should still materially have the "crushed ice" effect. It's just an "even" crushed ice instead of random. This one has slightly less organized faceting.

I don't necessarily LOVE what's going on in the middle of this one, but it might appeal to someone who really likes the crushed ice effect.

All these stones are in budget.

Thank you guys for all the recommendations. I really like the first diamond from Yadav. However they don’t offer 24 months finance. I am planning to pay monthly for 24 months. Blue Nile has a very good offer on financing but I think Blue Nile is not recommended?! I’m totally new to this, just read somewhere that said Blue Nile doesn’t have good selection of fancies.
What are your thoughts about those two below?

You can get 0% for 12 months from most credit card companies if your credit is good. I just got an 18 month offer from Discover yesterday.

That said I don't think blue Nile's offer is that compelling. It's 12 months if you qualify for their card which doesn't offer you anything with another vendor. If I were paying with credit I would at least want to get cash back for my purchase.

Ask BN if they can get aset images on these stones. Probably not but its worth a try. Post them if you get them.

He's right, I prefer the G.

if you have to buy on blue nile, maybe you can run them through hca score to help you eliminate the obvious ones?

also, mine is color h and bigger than the ones you are looking at, honestly i dont see any yellow tint. so you may also consider h ones. just my two cents.

HCA does not work on radiants.
