Quirky large Amethyst Pendant...

Is it pretty, or pretty weird? I like it, but it is quite possibly "different." What do you think?

Thanks for the comments, guys. I''m glad it''s not too quirky.

The gold on the top looks like it''s a bow, but it''s a flower with leaves going down. I guess it was a more common design at the time? (maybe 1950s?) I''m not sure what year it''s from.

At first, I guess it seemed quirky to me since it''s got an antique or vintage style, and the amethyst pendent I previously had was a modern-styled silver rectangle amethyst. This vintage one is winning out on wear now.
