Quick question about 5 stone rings

My 15th anniversary is approaching and I'm ready for some new bling. I found PS 7 years ago when I upgraded my center stone from a .5 carat 'jewelry store' cut to a 1.25 WF ACA. Two years later (for our 10th anniversary), we had WF reset the diamond into a 3 stone ring and added a channel set band in platinum to go with it.

Now, I'm jonesing for an anniversary band and was wondering if the 5 stone rings can be worn alone on my right hand. Most of the pictures I've seen here are using them as a wedding band on the left hand. I've been seriously drooling over the rings I've seen here and on WF's website.

Thanks,
Melissa

I often see 5 stones or more alone in right hand! This is fabulous! No problem IMO. Go for it! :appl:

Most definitly can wear them as a RHR. Matter fact if I can talk my DH into a reset for my e-ring, I will get a new
wedding band and wear my 5-stone as a RHR!

I am in the process of creating a 5-stone for myself and it will definitely be a RHR and not a replacement for my e-ring. But I like the idea of switching it to LH occasionally. I get bored easily and like to wear different combos.

Thanks for the quick responses! I like swingirl's idea of mixing things up occasionally.

My 1/2cttw 5 stone band is happily adorning my right hand at this moment :naughty: . I wear it as a RHR fairly often, and occasionally alone on my left hand in place of my wedding set for a less-blingy day.

I usually wear mine on my left hand and alot of times I wear it with my e-ring, well I discovered it but a pretty large dent in my prongs, so i think it will have to become my RHR or my stand alone wedding ring, at least till i can figure out when and if I can change my rings...

I wear my five stone band on my right hand - it was bought as an anniversary gift and intended as a RHR ring!

No, there's plenty of five stone RHRs among us. Just search five stone rings and you'll find a treasure trove of pictures. Five stones in all sizes.

I have both a 5 stone wedding band and a 5 stone RHR. Come to think of it my Ering is a 5 stone. I must like the number 5.

yes, absolutely! My 20th anniversary band is a 5 stone (1 ct. total wt.) band that was bought and sized specifically for my right hand....I actually wear it on my middle finger as it's more comfortable there...Lynn

I've been scheming a graduated 5-stone ring (in the spirit of Anne's BGD 5-stone) and I will probably wear it on my right hand more than my left. I can't put it with my wedding set so if it ends up on the left its because I was just wanting something different for the day (and the two fingers are similar in size). I agree with the others, you can wear it on any hand/finger you want.

Here are some glamour shots of my 5 stone anniversary band. It's .75 carat total weight, set in platinum. The company that made it is A Link. Although it is a wedding band, I often wear it on my right hand. It looks nice on either hand, really. :appl:
