Hi, I may soon buy a round 2.03 I/SI2 VG,VG/EX for $11,650. The diamond has an indented natural on the lower girdle that shows as both red and green on the GIA report with external blemishes mentioned.
Can someone please help me better understand if this could be a visibility issue to the naked eye and if its location could impact the girdle longer-term. Can a prong be put there to hide it? I assume the cutter left it alone to stay above 2ct.
