Questions about diamond setting heights

I just received my 2.28cwt diamond cross pendant and I love it. But when I took a closer look at the diamonds I noticed that the two diamonds at the top of the cross are set much higher than the others and the diamond directly below the center (horizontal) stone is set much lower than any of the other stones. Should I be concerned about these different setting heights? I would have thought all of the diamonds would have been set at the same height? Any wisdom on this much appreciated.

A picture would help.
If a custom piece is not to your liking or what you wanted, get the jeweller to fix it.

I'd have a big problem with this if it were my piece, and I'd bring it back to the jeweler and demand that they make it perfect.

I think they should all be the the same height.

Thanks everyone, I've tried to take photos but I only have an iphone3g and I can't get clear pictures. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being ridiculous in wanting them all at the same height. I will call the vendor tomorrow.

Jane, it's not really a custom piece. It's from the vendor's catalogue. But they did say it could take two weeks to make it. So I'm thinking it was made to order rather than from stock.
