Common quartz with a brown tint?....sounds like a marketing moniker to me

I think it''s in the same family as the frappuccino quartz. People have invented all kinds of names to market and describe the colors of the gems.

Looks like a trade name for regular smoky quartz to me, to appeal to the latte crowd. All kinds of games are being played both with marketing names and in altering quartz colors through heat and irradiation.
