I never watched Doogie... truthfully I didn't watch many of the traditional shows at all. I was into My Little Ponies for far too long, and watched the Young Riders then skipped right on up to ER.

So, did you know Doogie Howser is still on TV?? I used to have such a crush on him. Now, he looks like a teeny tiny boy!

He lives (or used to live - not sure now) right near me, in a village near my parents house. I remember when he first quit Doogie he was kind of a jerk. He was raised on that show and was rolling in the dough and had no idea how to act, so people here didn't care for him much. I hear he's much more laid-back now.

I also just realized that the character's name was "Douglas." I never caught that when I was a kid and wondered why in the heck someone would name their kid Doogie. It's like boogie (the kind in your nose) or dookie (the kind in your butt)!!
