Yes, the most astonishing micro-pave I have ever seen.
I have some pics of a member louping it.
It should be called nano-pave or pico-pave.

I think that was me Kenny. I hope you didn't get any up the nose shots, lol. His pave was the most exquisite I've ever seen and the pieces weighed next to nothing. It makes me wonder how durable they are given there is almost no metal. But they were unbelievably beautiful.

I'm a terrible judge, but I'm guessing closer to 200. I know that one person (who shall remain nameless unless she cares to reveal herself) had a necklace with 9 carats of diamonds plus a ring well over 3 carats. I had about 7 carats with both rings and IDJ jackets...move over Harry Winston!!

I'll bet there were more than 100 carats of diamonds. There were MANY over 2 cts and a good many in the 3-5 ct range. And some girls wore two diamond rings. I am sure yenny's two rings total between 5-6 cts,. for example. Grace might have had on 10 cts with that 5 ct EC on one hand and maybe a 3 stone on the other!

I didn't see Yenny's post right before mine, but I wasn't even thinking about earrings! That would add a lot of carats for sure! There easily could have been 100 carats in earrings alone! Even my WF hoops were 1.5 ctw. And yes, that one friend with 9 on her neck and the e-ring was 4!!!!

I had 4 cts in my bracelet, 2.3 in the e-ring, 1.5 in the earrings, about 1 carat on my neck, and that doesn't count small melee in my rings. So over 8 cts in diamonds. So yeah, there were people with a lot more than me! Might be more like 500 cts in diamonds! Glad we were in a secure location! (oh, and I had the asscher ring in my purse!)

My guess is actually around 450ctw. I came wearing fashion jewelry so I only had on my ering set and then my legacy inspired green tourmline ring, I'm estimating around 6.5cts for just me and I felt I was one of the more understated girls there with diamonds.


And as for certain possible slightly tipsy birthday girls....well if I'm going to make an arse out of myself I might as well do it in style right?! I promise next year I'll keep it G rated.

Thank you, I am so happy about it. I actually don't win more than the usual person. I'm not exactly a "lucky" person.. No lottery, no door prizes… I was so surprised! I wasn't even looking at my numbers when they were calling the digits out, but I heard "23" (I think that's what it was), and I said, "HEY, THAT'S ME!" and had to double check my ticket stub. I was screaming. I was so so excited

Nameless: 9 carats in necklace + 3 carat ring 12 ctw
Yenny: 7 carats in rings 7 ctw
Madelise: 7 carats in rings, earrings, and pendant 7 ctw
Catmom : 16 carats! 16 ctw
DS: WF hoops 1.5ctw (c'mon, what else DS!) 1.5 ctw


So far 43.5 just between this 4.5 people (I'm saying .5 for you, DS, cus I know you had more than your hoops on!)
At this rate, it's an est. 9.67ct per person. Multiply by 70? Wowza. Whopping 677 carats. I'd love to see more people chime in with their ctw in attendance so we can get a better feel

I'd love to list all the other pieces I saw and research for more carat weight, but I know I'll forget someone and feel bad

I had about 7.5ctw on my body at the gtg.

I still cannot believe I won something. I NEVER win anything! That's why I was just standing there thinking it wasn't my number. And it took me a while to realize no one was screaming so I looked down at my number and lo and behold!!! I won!
