I guess what it is is that I feel silly going to the ER for something that could just resolve itself. You know?

If you were my daughter, I would tell you that death is one way that this could resolve itself, but you would not be getting the chance to see if that would be the "natural" resolution in your case because I was calling an ambulance! Where is your mother? I'd have you out of there or have the EMTs in by now!
