Hello All,
Need a bit of help.
I have a white-gold setting that is meant to hold a Princess cut stone; which is also what I would like to put in it.
However; the basket is meant for a 1ct or larger stone and thats fine; but its also meant for an "out of square" or more rectangle-shaped stone...
What I need help with is how out "out of square" do I need the stone to be? I've posted pics below with drawings attempting to show the dimensions of it.
Whats an approximation of the smallest stone I could safely use in this setting?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Dimensions: A: 5.16mm; B: 5.70mm; C: 8.05mm
Measurements are the best approximation I can do with a caliper going between the "seat points" of the prongs.
EDIT: Sorry; tried to attach file...apparently I'm too dumb to get it to work right now
