My budget is $5k. I was looking at 1ct, h color, vs2, but all of the good ones seem to be over $5k, so I cut back in size a bit. The link I provided was the best I have found. I am going to ask for idealscope and aset images. They seem to have posted an aset image that's been computer generated on the certificate page, but not sure if that helps you guys as much as a real one.

If you can find a better deal then please please link it for me. I would prefer to buy from whiteflash or jamesallen, but am open for anything. Thank you for the help!

Edit ...So they are saying the computer generated one is the only one provided. Ask them why you can't have a "real" aset image.
Is the stone not local or what?

After looking at the original diamond picture, I noticed a black speck or dot in the middle of the diamond on its face. It's an inclusion, but they said it's eye clean. Should I be worried about it?

Also, I just sent them an email asking for a real aset image. I will update when I hear from them.

As for the settings, I am thinking about three different ones. the first being a split shank with baby diamonds on the band, next would be a single band with baby diamonds, and then a single band with no diamonds on band. I do not like halo's so I guess it would be considered solitaire setting.

I honestly have not researched the setting to the full extent, but I know I will end up choosing a style similar to those 4 links I provided. (no halo of course) one other thing I did not like was the v shaped mounting and the other style that looks like a ball in each corner, so I'm not sure what else is out there.

I just got a reply from them about the aset images for the second time. They will not provide an additional aset image other than the one in the certificate.

that first diamond will be eyeclean. If you only noticed it now at 40x zoom, you will not be able to see it in real life!

The 'double claw', while not as sharp as some other vendors, helps make them not look so blobby on the princess. The corners should be protected though.

The V-prong is what I prefer (over the circle blob) https://www.pricescope.com/files/engagement_ring_tutorial_photos/ArcticDuk%20V-prong.jpg,, and I think in real life it doesnt look that bad. In the blown up pictures, it does look a little weird. I've even seen the V prongs shaped more like little hearts, which was cute if you're into that.
